Praising Him in the Storms of Life

May you be encouraged as you watch this Interpretive Dance!! I was able to do this dance during the middle of our  raging storm to encourage the body of Christ through their own storms of life. I pray the Holy Spirit will speak through this dance to you today and encourage your heart as you watch this Holy Spirit guided dance.  An hour later after I did this dance we found out my husbands dad was admitted in the hospital. God is so good! Just love Him more and more everyday!

Your Love Defends Me!

Thank you Lord that your love defends me!! God you are the strength of my Soul!!
When I feel like I am all alone, your love defends me!! You are my portion and my Salvation!  Thank you Jesus!! When the enemy tries to put those kind of lies in our heads that we are all alone, I say no more, that isn't truth, but a lie.  I know that one too well. Jesus turns ashes into beauty.  This building is good representation of cleaning us up and starting over again.  Only He can renew our mind, soul and spirit if we give him the power to do so. Walking in the Desert once again Broken

It's been a long time since I have written on my music blog and had a lady at church encouraged me to write again. Thanks friend!  That is where I am creative through music, dance and writing.  So here it goes.  I am going through a desert place right now once again and that's not so bad really.  Been going on for a bit.  But that's ok as that is where I will continue to grow in Him if I so choose to learn and grow in the stinkin muck.  So I am hurting, and reeling all in one. I can relate to Jesus when he asked his disciples to leave and let him alone to be with his Father to pray too Him. That's where I am right now. I want to be alone and very few people get to walk with me through this just my Saviour and hubby. Thanking God for my hubby and his ever listening ear.  I will get through this.  A year ago is almost here that I lost one of my best dear friends to cancer.  That stink in disease! I literally HATE It!!  It comes from the Pit of Hell!  So I continue to reach to Holy Spirit as that is all I know.  This week is the anniversary of a special getaway to a camp we attended and what a beautiful retreat before she went to be with our Heavenly Father.  Lucky Girl!! haha!! I miss her but say she got the best ticket! Someday I will join her, but until than I have a purpose to be here to further the Kingdom of God!  Thanking God for my life and what he continues to do in and through me.  Maybe you are walking through the muck too. May you be blessed as you allow Holy Spirit to be the lifter of your head today.  Just remember, you are not alone my friend! You may feel like it. I know that one all too well.  But you entruly are not!! The Lover of Your Soul will never leave you nor forsake you. Never!! He is with you every step of the way friend!!  May these scriptures as well as this song bless you today!!

Let Him Break apart the Lies!

He is lifting your head up sister/brother!  Let Jesus break apart the lies that have been told to you.  They are lies that the enemy was hoping would destroy you.  You are a warrior and a trouper! God has your best interest for you.  He soo loves you so much friend!  You are beautiful inside out and he knows everything about you.  No condemation in Him!  May you be encouraged as you watch this encouraging video and lyrics.  White dress is freedom and the black dress is bondage. What are you waiting for, lay it down at the feet of Jesus! Only He can renew and restore!  Your life is worth everything too him!! What is that STINCH?

 "He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful."  John 15:2

As I came back from my bike ride today and walked into my house I could smell something not so pleasant.  It hit me in the face as I entered my house.  What could smell that bad I thought?  I just cleaned out the fridge last night.  So as I venture to the kitchen low and behold the package of romaine lettuce that had 3 heads in it, one of them was already going bad when I opened it last night for supper. I just so happened to have left it on the counter, never thinking it would put such a smell such as this in my whole top floor of the house.  I started to peel the layers back and it was rotting from the inside out. 

If we are not careful the root that has started to take seed within us that is bitter will bring bitter fruit.  It will eat at us from the inner core out.  Unfortunately it just won't affect one part of our Spiritual walk, but all facets of it if we aren't willing to allow the Holy Spirit to do some daily House Cleaning.   I don't know about you, but that is something I don't want to take place in my daily life thus I ask the Holy Spirit to expose the things in my life that need to be de-rooted and filled in with the Holy Spirit daily.  It's surrendering, asking for forgiveness and asking that place that was exposed and emptied to be filled in with the presence of the Holy Spirit!!!

So as I threw out the bad vegetable, my house already smelled good! That is exactly what happens when we allow the Holy Spirit to de-root the deposits that we have allowed others to put there over the years. Some of those could be offenses, trust issues, etc... He heals our every wound when we invite him to do some deep cleaning.  Hey, it may be painful, but without pain there is no gain.  He calls it Pruning!  If you want to go deeper than allow the Holy Spirit to do some pruning in your life so he can renew and restore you today and allow your gifting(s) to flow like never before. :)   It's called more Freedom in Him.

Shout it out!!!

Just BE.........

Do you ever allow yourself to ever just be?  Does that sound complicated to you? Do you even know how to just BE? When was the last time you lay in your hammock or the ground and watch the clouds float by?  Oh it sounds kiddish, you say.  I don't think so.  I have more fun just being more than the average person I know in my life.  I savor each day in my life like it's the last. I work in a profession that I see many breathe their last breath and some wished they had of done life differently and many are so satisfied and happy with their choices too.  Some are my age and some are younger and some are older.  I have that opportunity now to do life the way I was meant too. Simplistic and living my life to the fullest and in and through the Holy Spirit! Less is more! I love watching that little bird come to my window and say good morning! I love watching the air I breathe pick up that leaf and swirl it all around and float in the air.  How many of us are way too busy to even enjoy God's creation he has put before us?  I know I was there once upon a time, but I make room to just BE as I get older. I may act like a kid, but hey, I thoroughly enjoy my life and I really don't care what anyone thinks. If I want to dance under the stars or dance in the mall while a song comes over the radio or just sing hey, why not, it just may make someone else's day!  Really, it's not all about me, it's about impacting the world around me.  Let's face it we all can use a bit of encouragement and a new way of living instead of living as a victum! Why not live as a victor!! No matter what life throws our way, we can give Him the glory and Praise Him while the Storm is blowing and the waves are trying to knock us down.  He will pick us up again and again and be our everything during the good, bad and ugly!!
